Yes, we are a fully independent insurance broker, and always in search of the right insurance product to match your needs. This is why we work with a range of well-established, licensed insurance companies, including ENNIA, ASKA, Citizens Insurance, New India Insurance, Guardian Group, Nagico, Sagicor and United Insurance.

Which documents do I need to apply for car insurance?

When applying for car insurance, please bring these documents:

  • A valid vehicle inspection card registered to your name.
  • A valid driver's license.

Which documents do I need to apply for fire insurance?

When applying for fire insurance, please bring these documents:

  • An appraisal report not older than 3 years
  • An excerpt from the Chamber of Commerce (only for companies)

Do I need to make an appointment to visit Banco di Caribe’s Insurance department?

Yes, an appointment is required for all our Insurance services. Please contact us in order to make your appointment.

How can I pay my insurance premium?

  • You can pay by making a transfer through online banking. (recommended)
  • You can swipe your Debit Card in the payment terminal located at the Insurance department. (recommended)
  • You can only pay in cash at the Cash department of one of our branches located in Saliña, Otrobanda, Sambil and Santa Maria

What information do I need to include to pay my insurance premium online?

  • Bank name: Banco di Caribe. N.V.
  • Account name: Clearing Insurance Cur
  • Account number: 18491601
  • Account address: Schottegatweg Oost 205
  • The policy and invoice number of the insurance premium that you are paying in the payment description

In case, you are using BdC Online to pay your Insurance premium, simply go to Payments and Transfers > Create Transfer > Bill Payment . From the Payee drop-down list, select BdC Insurance. Continue to fill in the other fields. Once you are ready, do not forget to submit and approve your payment.
